Creating a new email account using cPanel

Our Standard Web Hosting platform comes with a 'cPanel' control panel which allows you to create and manage email accounts easily.

Login to your cPanel

To login to your cPanel visit in your web browser, replacing with your website address.

Login using your cPanel username and password (refer to your welcome email from us for this information).

Email Accounts

Once logged in to cPanel find the Email section and click on Accounts you will then see a form which will let you add a new email account. Enter the new email address you would like to create and then enter a secure password twice.

If you would like you can choose to set a Mailbox Quota this is the amount of disk space that the email account is allowed to use on your Web Hosting account.

Once done click Create Account

That's it - your email account is created and ready to receive mail.

Once your email account is set up you can login to check your Inbox or send mail by using our Webmail interface, you can access this by adding "webmail" onto the end of your website address, like this:

Configuring Your Email Software

If you would like to configure email software like Outlook or perhaps a mobile device to connect to your new email account then you may need to know various settings to use to connect to our email server, to see these settings go back to your Email Account section within cPanel and then toward the bottom of the page you will see your email accounts listed, to the right of them is a More button, click that and then "Configure Email Client" and that page will show you the relevant details you will need.

Typically it is useful to remember that the following when configuring your email: - Incoming & Outgoing Mail Server setting are the same: (obviously replacing with your correct domain). - Your username is your full email address.
